David (HBS-03) is founder and Managing Partner of Founder Collective, a seed-stage fund based in Boston and New York. David specializes in early stage funding and has provided the first capital for companies like Seatgeek, Pillpack & Coupang.

Prior Experience:

David was co-founder and CEO of Internet Solutions (IS), the largest ISP and private data carrier in Africa, which was ultimately acquired by NTT Japan. David also co-founded Healthbridge, one of the largest independent healthcare data processing companies in Africa as well as co-led the “New Dawn” African satellite launch & deployment together with Intelsat. As an investor, David provided the initial capital for Volaris (NYSE), Brontes (3M), SiteAdvisor (McAfee), Bluebox (IBM), Paddle8 and OPower (NYSE). David serves on the board of Endeavor South Africa and was voted the South African Tech. Achiever of the Century. He graduated from Wits University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
