Eric Boutin is a digital health investor, board member, and serial entrepreneur, helping early-stage startups to global pharma companies reimagine healthcare through science and technology.
Eric helps founders launch, fund, and scale companies through Harvard Street Advising. He was a Venture Chair at Redesign Health, a digital health venture studio, where he created and financed health tech startup companies. Before that, he was a Managing Director at dRx Capital, Novartis’ digital health venture capital fund, where he led early-stage investments in pharma tech, patient care, and healthcare AI.
Prior to dRx, Eric was Founder and CEO of Evolve, an AI-powered consumer tech company, which was acquired by HubSpot (NYSE: HUBS). He was Founder and CEO of Good Start Genetics, a reproductive health and genomics company, which was acquired by Invitae (NYSE: NVTA). Eric was also an EIR at Longwood Fund, a life sciences venture capital fund, where he led early-stage biotech deals and founded Flex Pharma, a neuromuscular sports performance company, which went on to IPO (NASDAQ: FLKS).
Eric holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Duke University. He has held board director or observer roles for Seed through Series D companies in digital health, tech, and life sciences.
