Ralph is a serial entrepreneur, board director and angel investor with deep experience building technology companies.
In his most recent operating position, he spent 7 years as WordStream's CEO, joining just after its B-round of financing. During his tenure as CEO the company experienced rapid growth from $1m to over $50m in revenue. The company achieved 6 years in a row on the Inc. 5000 list, and was consistently named one of the best places to work in Boston. Ralph led the process which resulted in a successful sale of the company to Gannett in July of 2018.
Earlier in his career, Ralph co-founded Molecular, one of the first internet consulting services firms. Molecular was acquired by Dentsu-Aegis, one of the worlds largest agency holding companies.
Ralph sits on the Board of Directors of Flipside Crypto, Unstack and Sidecar and is an active angel investor. He is a member of the Launchpad Venture’s angel network as well as the Blue Angels (investing in Bluetech - startups related to our oceans).
Ralph is passionate about bringing the power of entrepreneurship to under-represented individuals and communities. He mentors startups each year in Roxbury’s EforAll program.
Ralph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Boston University.
InterestsRalph holds a Coast Guard Captain’s license. In the summer, you can usually find him on a boat off the coast of Cape Cod.
