Early Stage Idea Reviewer

Early stage feedback allows potential participants in the New Venture Competition to receive early written feedback from investors and entrepreneurs in related industry sectors on their ideas. Reviewers are matched to one or more (if desired) participants and provide detailed, written feedback on executive summaries. The time frame to review is one month.

New Venture Competition Judge

A capstone event for students who have worked to develop new venture plans while at HBS. All participants present live to experienced investors, entrepreneurs, and experts and receive invaluable feedback at each round of the Competition. $150,000 in cash plus in-kind prizes. Judges travel to campus on Super Saturday and are assigned to panels based on expertise. Each panel reviews and rates 4-6 teams' pitches.

Rock Accelerator Mentor

A highly competitive accelerator supporting 20 teams over the course of two 10-week terms. Teams receive $5,000 of seed capital, matched mentors, and facilitated peer exchange to engage in structured experimentation, validate important hypotheses, and develop new ventures. Mentors are asked to engage with their team throughout the 10-week term on a bi-weekly basis (via in person, email, or telephone contact) and help guide their business.

Local Mentor for Rock Summer Fellows

The Rock Summer Fellow program is a unique 10-week fellowship over the summer that provides financial support and a peer network for students working on their own ventures and for those joining early stage start-ups across the country and the world. Rock Summer Fellow mentors are locally based and provide fellows with guidance throughout their 10-week program.
